Soccer Game Preview: New Fairfield vs. Joel Barlow + How To Watch

The New Fairfield Rebels will head out on the road to challenge the Joel Barlow Falcons at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. New Fairfield will be strutting in after a victory while Joel Barlow will be coming in after a loss.

On Saturday, New Fairfield beat Nonnewaug 5-3. The win made it back-to-back victories for New Fairfield.

They hit Nonnewaug with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from James Dobransky (2), Hudson Schaefer, Gavin Spanger, and Colin Hood.

Meanwhile, Joel Barlow was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They came up short against Bethel, falling 4-0. While losing is never fun, Joel Barlow can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Connecticut soccer rankings (they are ranked 122nd, while Bethel are ranked sixth).

New Fairfield's win bumped their record up to 6-8-2. As for Joel Barlow, their loss dropped their record down to 1-11-1.
