Canyon Hills came tearing into Thursday's matchup with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 3 goals) and they left with even more momentum. They skirted past the Logan Memorial Education Campus Eagles 2-1. Given the Rattlers 's advantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 227th, while the Eagles are ranked 910th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Cairo Brown and Caidon Clay scored both of Canyon Hills' goals, bringing their combined season tally to 19 goals.
