Volleyball Recap: Triton Regional Comes Up Short

Triton Regional lost against Lynnfield back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Vikings came up short against the Pioneers, falling 3-0. The Vikings have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-9, 25-18.

Leading Lynnfield to victory were Elliana Moretti and Sophie Shaievitz. Moretti had 14 digs and seven assists, while Shaievitz had four digs and four aces. That's the most assists Moretti has posted over her last seven contests.

Triton Regional's defeat dropped their record down to 3-12. As for Lynnfield, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 14 of their last 15 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-2 record this season.

Triton Regional didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-1 win against Winthrop on the 25th. Lynnfield does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
