Flag Football Game Preview: St. Mary's Knights vs. Thunderbird Titans + Official Tickets

The St. Mary's Knights will face off against the Thunderbird Titans at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (St. Mary's 10.9, Thunderbird 14.2) so any points scored will be well earned.

Thunderbird will challenge a team with plenty of momentum: St. Mary's extended their winning streak to five on Tuesday. The Knights blew past Goldwater 39-0. The Knights' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Meanwhile, after a string of three wins, Thunderbird's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They took a 7-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of Deer Valley.

Thunderbird's loss was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 5-5. As for St. Mary's, they now have a winning record of 5-4.

Everything came up roses for St. Mary's against Thunderbird when the teams last played back in November of 2024, as the team secured a 39-0 win. Do the Knights have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Titans turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
