Meanwhile, Deer Creek-Mackinaw took care of business in their home opener on Monday. They walked away with a 51-41 win over Roanoke-Benson. The Chiefs haven't had any issues with the Rockets recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

Peoria Notre Dame now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Deer Creek-Mackinaw, their win bumped their record up to 1-0.
