Basketball Recap: Hunter Collins Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat A.C. Flora

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Westwood, Heathwood Hall Episcopal was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They secured a 53-47 W over the A.C. Flora Falcons.

Heathwood Hall Episcopal got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Hunter Collins out in front who shot 64% from the field on his way to 16 points and seven boards. Another player making a difference was Jackson Dickerson, who posted nine points.

Heathwood Hall Episcopal smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 12 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive rebounds in five consecutive matchups dating back to last season.

The victory got Heathwood Hall Episcopal back to even at 1-1.

Looking ahead, Heathwood Hall Episcopal will take on Dreher at 12:00 p.m. on Friday. As for A.C. Flora, they will be taking part in a tournament against Sumter at 1:30 p.m. on Friday.
