Soccer Game Preview: Manhattan Center for Science & Math vs. Richman

The Manhattan Center for Science & Math Rams will face off against the Richman Panthers at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.

Manhattan Center for Science & Math had been on a three-game streak of scoring at least four goals, but Clinton School put an end to it on Thursday. The Rams came up short against Clinton School, falling 4-0. The loss put an end to Manhattan Center for Science & Math's undefeated start to the season.

Meanwhile, Richman was not able to break out of their rough patch on Sunday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 4-0 to Math Science & Engineering. While losing is never fun, Richman can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New York soccer rankings (they are ranked 355th, while Math Science & Engineering are ranked 134th).

Richman's loss dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Manhattan Center for Science & Math, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 3-1.
