Basketball Recap: Bell Creek Academy Triumphs

Bell Creek Academy won the last time they faced Sports Leadership & Management and things went their way on Friday too. The Panthers walked away with a 70-63 victory over the Spartans.

Derrick Muse produced another solid effort going 12-for-20 to rack up 27 points and eight rebounds. Another player making a difference was Jaylan Johnson, who posted seven points in addition to eight assists and six boards.

Sports Leadership & Management's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Julian Guerrier, who shot 83% from the field en route to 12 points and four steals. Thanks to that strong game, Guerrier now owns an excellent 54.5% field goal percentage. The team also got some help courtesy of Gzae Cartenga, who put up 15 points.
