Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Harwood walked away with it. They came out on top against the Middlebury Tigers by a score of 57-50 on Saturday. The Highlanders are really starting to get used to good results now that the team has won 13 straight.

Harwood's victory was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 21-3. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.0 points over those games. As for Middlebury, they moved to 13-9 with that defeat, which also ended their ten-game winning streak.

Looking ahead, Harwood will head out to challenge Hartford at 7:45 p.m. on Wednesday. Hartford knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past six games -- so hopefully Harwood likes a good challenge. Middlebury does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
