Football Game Preview: Mills University Studies Comets vs. Lonoke Jackrabbits

The Mills University Studies Comets will head out to challenge the Lonoke Jackrabbits at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams are coming into the contest red-hot, with Mills University Studies sitting on four straight victories and Lonoke on seven.

Lonoke better have a healthy lead at halftime, because if Mills University Studies' game on Friday is any indication, that's when Mills University Studies really gets things going. The Comets were the clear victors by a 47-21 margin over Central Arkansas Christian. Considering the Comets have won six matchups by more than 25 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Meanwhile, Lonoke humbled Hall with a 44-6 victory. The Jackrabbits are also no stranger to big wins: their blowout on Friday was the sixth game they've won by 20+ points this season.

Mills University Studies' win bumped their record up to 8-1. As for Lonoke, their victory bumped their record up to 7-2.

Mills University Studies beat Lonoke 37-29 in their previous matchup back in November of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Comets since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
