Volleyball Recap: Beardstown Comes Up Short

Beardstown was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 12th straight loss dating back to last season. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Quincy Notre Dame Raiders. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Tigers of the 2-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

The final score came out to 25-10, 25-11.

Beardstown's loss dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Quincy Notre Dame, their win bumped their record up to 4-2.

Coming up, Beardstown will welcome Lanphier at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Quincy Notre Dame, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Rushville-Industry on the 10th.
