Merritt Island Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 3-16. As for Master's Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 14-10.

Merritt Island Christian beat Master's Academy 3-1 in their previous matchup back in September of 2021. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Cougars since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
