Josue Santa Maria Game Report: vs Cigarroa

Josue Santa Maria won't forget Tuesday's contest any time soon: he posted double-digit points for the first time in his career. He shot 45% from the field en route to 10 points as Edinburg North took down Cigarroa 72-67. We rated that as his best effort of the season, edging out his previous best, set on Friday, when he had nine points and five rebounds (Gamescore: 9.4 vs. 8.4).

Coming up, Santa Maria and Edinburg North will be playing at home against Vela at 12:00 p.m. on Friday. The Cougars have some work to do to even out the 2-8 series between these two since February of 2020, but a win here would be a good start.
