Soccer Recap: Sycamore Takes a Loss

After flying high against Oak Hills on Tuesday, Sycamore came back down to earth. The Aviators fell just short of the St. Xavier Bombers by a score of 1-0 on Thursday. While losing is never fun, Sycamore can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio soccer rankings (they are ranked 56th, while St. Xavier are ranked fifth).

Sycamore's loss dropped their record down to 3-2. As for St. Xavier, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1-1.

Sycamore has already played their next match, a 3-2 victory against Princeton on the 3rd. As for St. Xavier, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Elder on the 3rd.
