Basketball Game Preview: Pleasant Grove Eagles vs. Oak Ridge Trojans

The Pleasant Grove Eagles will square off against the Oak Ridge Trojans at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.

It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 73-45, which was the final score in Pleasant Grove's tilt against Jesuit on Saturday.

The losing side was boosted by Ethan Nguyen, who posted 15 points. Armaan Sharma was another key player, putting up nine points.

Meanwhile, Oak Ridge didn't have too much trouble with Laguna Creek on Tuesday as they won 70-51. The win continues a trend for the Trojans in their matchups with the Cardinals: they've now won three in a row.

Pleasant Grove now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Oak Ridge, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Pleasant Grove suffered a grim 73-50 defeat to Oak Ridge in their previous matchup back in December of 2024. Thankfully for the Eagles, Kaleb Edwards (who went 12-for-14 to rack up 25 points and eight boards) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result?
