Volleyball Game Preview: San Marcos Royals vs. San Luis Obispo Tigers

The San Marcos Royals will square off against the San Luis Obispo Tigers at 5:15 p.m. on Friday. San Marcos is coming into the contest hot, having won their last five games.

Last Monday, San Marcos got the win against Quartz Hill by a conclusive 3-0.

Meanwhile, San Luis Obispo suffered their biggest defeat since May 16, 2024 on Tuesday. They came up short against Santa Ynez, falling 3-0. While getting shut out isn't ideal, the Tigers haven't been shut out since back in March.

The final score came out to 25-15, 25-13, 25-18.

San Luis Obispo's loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 22-7. As for San Marcos, their victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 20-9.
