Basketball Recap: Van Buren Comes Up Short

Van Buren was the 73-63 winner over Winona when they last played one another two weeks ago, but their luck changed this time around. The Van Buren Bulldogs took a 55-47 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Winona Wildcats on Saturday. The game marked the Bulldogs' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Van Buren's loss dropped their record down to 7-10. As for Winona, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 8-6 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Van Buren will welcome Summersville at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Winona, they will be playing at home against Koshkonong at 7:15 p.m. on Monday.
