Basketball Recap: Delano Wins Going Away Against Wasco

Delano hasn't had quite the year their fans were hoping for to this point, but back-to-back wins may be a sign of good things to come. They walked away with a 46-33 victory over the Wasco Tigers on Thursday. That 13 point margin sets a new team best for Delano this season.

It was another big night for Jotham Amodo, who posted 12 points in addition to six assists and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Elijah Torres, who had seven points and three steals.

Delano is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 3-9 record this season. As for Wasco, their loss was their 15th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 3-7.

Delano will square off against Chavez at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Wasco, they will take on Coalinga at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday.
