Basketball Recap: Ayala Bulldogs vs. Price Knights

While losing is never fun, the Bulldogs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 331st, while the Knights are ranked 138th).
It was another big night for Keshrey Smith, Jr, who posted 16 points along with eight assists and six rebounds for Price. What's more, Smith, Jr also posted five steals, the most he's had since back in November of 2024. Tyrell Miller was another key player, putting up 13 points in addition to seven blocks and six boards.
Ayala's defeat dropped their record down to 18-12. As for Price, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 23-6 record this season.
