Volleyball Game Preview: Barry Western Wildcats vs. Seymour Indians

The Barry Western Wildcats will venture away from home to square off against the Seymour Indians at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Seymour took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Barry Western, who comes in off a win.

Having struggled with three losses in a row, Barry Western turned things around against Pleasant Hill on Thursday. They came out on top against the Wolves by a score of 2-0.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Barry Western took both sets by at least 13 points. The final score came out to 25-11, 25-12.

Meanwhile, Seymour was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of Hamilton/Warsaw.

In an exciting match in which no team claimed back-to-back wins, Seymour sadly wound up on the wrong side. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 21-25, 25-8.

Seymour's loss dropped their record down to 10-18. As for Barry Western, their win bumped their record up to 15-9.

Barry Western came out on top in a nail-biter against Seymour in their previous meeting back in September, sneaking past 2-1. Do the Wildcats have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Indians turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
