Two dominant signal callers in Nash Ott and Colten Meyer are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The Yuma Catholic Shamrocks are taking a road trip to take on the Marana Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Yuma Catholic comes in on seven and Marana on nine.

Yuma Catholic is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They walked away with a 35-28 victory over Millennium.

Meanwhile, you can't lose the game if you win every quarter, and that was precisely Marana's strategy against Vista Grande last Friday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that the Tigers blew the Spartans out of the water with a 47-0 final score. Considering the Tigers have won seven contests by more than 20 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Marana found their leader in sophomore Jeffrey Smith III, who rushed for 198 yards and two scores on only 11 carries, and also picked up 50 receiving yards and a pair of touchdowns. With that strong performance, Smith III is now averaging an impressive 101 rushing yards per game. Sean Roebuck also helped out with an impressive 110 receiving yards.

Yuma Catholic's record now sits at 7-4. As for Marana, their record is now 9-1.

Yuma Catholic took a serious blow against Marana in their previous matchup back in September, falling 47-14. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Meyer, who threw for 411 yards and five TDs while completing 80% of his passes.
