It was a good run, but Buckland unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-match winning streak on Friday. They fell just short of the Napaaqtugmiut Lynx by a score of 2-1. The Sissauni were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Lynx earlier this season, when they won 2-0.

Buckland started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last two. The match finished with set scores of 20-25, 25-20, 25-20.

Buckland's loss dropped their record down to 5-2. As for Napaaqtugmiut, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 6-2.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Buckland beat the Lynx by a score of 2-0 on Saturday.
