Basketball Recap: Grass Lake Takes a Loss

Grass Lake entered their matchup against Clinton on Thursday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Grass Lake Warriors fell just short of the Clinton Redwolves by a score of 42-40. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Warriors came into the contest with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 86th, while the Redwolves are ranked 438th).

Having lost for the first time this season, Grass Lake fell to 21-1. As for Clinton, their victory bumped their record up to 7-15.

Grass Lake does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Clinton, they will challenge Erie-Mason at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
