Basketball Recap: Banning Takes a Loss

Banning was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They fell 51-41 to the Gardena Panthers. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Pilots this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 46-30 back in January.

Banning's defeat dropped their record down to 10-16. As for Gardena, their victory was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 14-12.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Banning will head out to take on San Pedro at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Gardena, they will take on Rancho Dominguez at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
