Volleyball Recap: Carolina Forest Takes Down Ranked North Myrtle Beach

Carolina Forest faced North Myrtle Beach in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. The Panthers put the hurt on the Chiefs with a sharp 3-0 victory. The Panthers haven't had any issues with the Chiefs recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive win against them.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Carolina Forest took every set by at least 12 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-9, 25-11.

Erion Tabaku was the offensive standout of the match as he had four digs and three aces. Those three aces gave him a new career-high. Alex Nikolov also deserves some recognition as he had his first kill of the season.

Carolina Forest's victory bumped their record up to 10-3. As for North Myrtle Beach, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-5.
