Volleyball Recap: Wahpeton Comes Up Short

Wahpeton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 14th straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Lisbon Broncos. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Broncos this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

Wahpeton's loss dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Lisbon, their victory ended a nine-match drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-12.

Coming up, Wahpeton will face off against Valley City at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lisbon, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Kindred at 7:15 p.m. on the 21st.
