Preview: Trent Gorillas vs. Moran Bulldogs
Trent is 0-3 against Moran since December of 2021 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Trent Gorillas will head out on the road to face off against the Moran Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. Neither of those teams managed to put together many points in their previous contests, so the offenses might be a little more motivated than usual.
Last Saturday, Trent was the victim of a rough 48-23 loss at the hands of Non Varsity Opponent. Trent was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 35-9.
Meanwhile, Moran had to suffer through a rough 51-10 loss at the hands of Garner. Moran has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Kielar Carr was Moran's leading scorer, having posted seven points.
Trent's win bumped their season record to 3-6 while Non Varsity Opponent's loss dropped theirs to 19-46.
Trent came up short against Moran in their previous meeting back in December of 2022, falling 32-25. Thankfully for Trent, Alyssa Allred (who dropped a double-double on 20 points and 17 rebounds) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result?
