Talladega County Central can finally bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Tuesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Ragland and snuck past 44-42. The victory was just what Talladega County Central needed coming off of a 76-12 defeat in their prior game.

Meanwhile, Talladega put the finishing touches on their 11th blowout victory of the season on Monday. They took their matchup on the road with ease, bagging a 76-12 victory over Talladega County Central. Given Talladega's advantage in MaxPreps' Alabama basketball rankings (they are ranked 100th, while Talladega County Central is ranked 394th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Talladega's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Zae Cunningham, who scored 21 points along with six steals and five assists. Cunningham is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last ten games she's played. Trinity Webb was another key contributor, scoring 16 points along with eight rebounds and six steals.

Talladega County Central's win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 6-10. As for Talladega, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 13-6 record this season.
