Soccer Recap: Summit K2 Plays to a Tie

For the first time this season, Summit K2 was forced to settle for a draw. They and the Trinity Prep Crusaders finished up their matchup with a 2-2 draw on Wednesday.

Rene Zamora was the only thing that stood between Summit K2 and a shutout considering he scored both of Summit K2's goals, bringing his season total up to two goals.

Summit K2's draw gives them a new season record of 1-2-1. As for Trinity Prep, they moved theirs to 4-5-1.

Looking ahead, Summit K2 will welcome The Bay School at 3:45 p.m. on Wednesday. The Bay School's last seven contests have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Trinity Prep, they didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next match, a 4-1 loss against Athenian on the 3rd.
