Basketball Recap: Jeremy Huynh's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Woodcrest Christian over Heritage + How To Watch

After flying high against Sherman Indian on Friday, Woodcrest Christian came back down to earth. The matchup between the Royals and the Heritage Patriots didn't end well, with the Royals falling 74-56. The Royals have struggled against the Patriots recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Several Royals players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Jeremy Huynh, who posted 11 points. Levi Kuehl was another key player, putting up nine points.

Heritage found their leader in sophomore Quentin Bailey, who dropped a double-double with 16 points and ten boards. Those 16 points set a new season-high mark for Bailey. Another player making a difference was Kendall Sampson, who earned nine points along with seven assists and seven rebounds.

Woodcrest Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Heritage, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-1.

Woodcrest Christian has already played their next game, a 76-57 victory against California Lutheran on the 25th. As for Heritage, they will host California Military Institute at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
