Football Recap: Hull-Daisetta Takes a Loss

Hull-Daisetta extended their losing streak to four on Friday, dropping them down to 2-8. They were beaten by the Evadale Rebels 51-22. If the Bobcats were looking for revenge after losing 43-8 to the Rebels when the teams met back in November of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

As for Evadale, they now have a winning record of 5-4. The result was nothing new for the Rebels, who have now won three games by 29 points or more so far this season.

Evadale got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Brett Buckner out in front who rushed for 65 yards and one touchdown on only seven carries, and also threw for 117 yards and one TD while completing 78.6% of his passes. Carter Carrell was in the mix too, providing the Rebels with one score.

Hull-Daisetta does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Evadale, they will face off against Lovelady on Thursday. The Rebels will need to watch out since the Lions have now posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season.
