Volleyball Recap: Lovett Beats the Weber School for Their Third Straight Win + How To Watch

With a playoff win on the line, Lovett rose to the challenge on Wednesday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over The Weber School Rams. The victory was nothing new for the Lions as they're now sitting on three straight.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Lovett was: they took every set by at least ten points. The final score came out to 25-9, 26-16, 25-4.

Lovett found their leader in sophomore Kate Kennedy, who had 14 assists. Anna Webb also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

Lovett was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 12 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least six aces in five consecutive matchups.

Lovett's win bumped their record up to 38-3. As for The Weber School, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 13 of their last 14 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-16 record this season.

Lovett will take on Athens Academy at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Weber School does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
