Basketball Recap: Templeton Takes a Loss

Templeton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They had to suffer through a 70-28 loss at the hands of the Mission College Prep Royals. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 517th, while the Royals are ranked 86th).

Templeton's loss dropped their record down to 11-9. As for Mission College Prep, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 17-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Templeton will head out to square off against Morro Bay at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Mission College Prep, they will challenge San Luis Obispo at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Mission College Prep's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last 11 contests.
