Baseball Recap: Chatham Takes a Loss

Chatham was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They fell 14-9 to the Dan River Wildcats. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Cavaliers of the 10-8 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2024.

Chatham's defeat dropped their record down to 1-10. As for Dan River, their victory ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-5.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Chatham is set to face off against their familiar foe Altavista at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Dan River will challenge rival William Campbell at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
