Football Recap: Susquehanna Valley Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Susquehanna Valley extended their losing streak to three on Saturday, dropping them down to 3-5. They were outmatched by the Norwich Purple Tornado and fell 49-6. The matchup marked the Sabers' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

As for Norwich, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-4 record this season. They might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four matchups by 23 points or more this season.

Zachary Parker produced another solid performance rushing for 186 yards and five scores while picking up 10.9 yards per carry. Those five rushing touchdowns gave him a new career-high.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Susquehanna Valley will head out to take on Chenango Forks at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Blue Devils' defense has only allowed 9.7 points per game this season, so the Sabers' offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Norwich, they are taking a road trip to square off against Waverly at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
