Volleyball Recap: Kimberly Beats Filer for Their Fifth Straight Win

Kimberly entered their tilt with Filer on Tuesday with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. They came out on top against the Wildcats by a score of 3-1. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent win being a 3-2 victory last Tuesday.

Kimberly walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the fourth set). The match finished with set scores of 26-24, 22-25, 25-23, 25-12.

When it comes to explaining why Filer lost, don't look at Ruthie Bullock. Despite the final result, she had ten digs and four aces. Bullock has been hot, having also posted 13 or more assists the last seven times she's played.

Kimberly's win bumped their record up to 18-7. As for Filer, their loss dropped their record down to 19-10.

Filer didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-1 victory against Buhl on the 21st. Hopefully Kimberly paid attention to the Wildcats' contest: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Wildcats at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
