Soccer Recap: Center Hill Takes a Loss

If Center Hill was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Horn Lake on Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Mustangs lost 3-0 to the Lewisburg Patriots on Tuesday. The loss continues a trend for Center Hill in their meetings with Lewisburg: they've now lost three in a row.

Center Hill now has a losing record of 2-3-1. As for Lewisburg, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Center Hill will head out to face off against Southaven at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Southaven's last three matchups have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Lewisburg, they will head out on the road to take on Saltillo at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Lewisburg's defense better be ready for this one: Saltillo have averaged an impressive 2.8 goals per game this season.
