Volleyball Game Preview: North Shore Mustangs vs. Goose Creek Memorial Patriots

North Shore is 1-9 against Goose Creek Memorial since September of 2017 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Mustangs will be playing in front of their home fans against the Patriots at 6:30 p.m.

Fans were treated to a battle of the Mustangs on Tuesday. North Shore came up short against Kingwood, falling 3-0.

The final score came out to 25-19, 25-12, 25-20.

Meanwhile, Goose Creek Memorial was able to grind out a solid victory over King on Tuesday, taking the game 3-1. The win continues a trend for the Patriots in their matchups with the Panthers: they've now won nine in a row.

Goose Creek Memorial had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 15-25, 25-12, 25-12, 25-18.

North Shore's defeat dropped their record down to 11-18. As for Goose Creek Memorial, their victory bumped their record up to 20-12.
