With a playoff win on the line, Dakota Ridge rose to the challenge on Saturday. Everything went their way against the Palmer Ridge Bears as they made off with a 38-14 victory. Considering the Eagles have won 11 contests by more than 23 points this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

Dakota Ridge didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off five passes before the game was over. Coby Stewart led the group effort, picking up two of those interceptions all by himself. Seth Gregory is also on a roll when it comes to defended passes, as he's now defended at least one in each of the last three games he's played.

Despite the loss, Palmer Ridge still got an impressive performance from Eli Stewart, who picked up 86 receiving yards and two TDs. Stewart got the majority of those receiving yards when he pulled down a pass and took off for a gain of 64 yards.

Dakota Ridge's win was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-0. The home victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 11.9 points on average over those games. As for Palmer Ridge, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 13-1.
