Basketball Recap: Gentry Takes a Loss

Gentry lost against Prairie Grove back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Gentry Pioneers fell 60-53 to the Prairie Grove Tigers. The Pioneers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Gentry's defeat dropped their record down to 8-10. As for Prairie Grove, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 12 contests, which provided a massive bump to their 11-13 record this season.

Gentry will head out to square off against Shiloh Christian at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. Shiloh Christian will roll in looking for their eighth straight win, something Gentry surely won't give up without a fight. Prairie Grove has already played their next match (against Pea Ridge), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
