Volleyball Recap: Northwest Takes a Loss

Northwest was the 3-2 winner over Adams Central when they last played one another back in September, but their luck changed this time around. The Vikings fell 2-0 to the Patriots on Saturday. The Vikings have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Elli Payne paced Northwest's offense, picking up 12 kills. Payne got some help from Kenna Bowman and her 27 assists.

Northwest's defeat dropped their record down to 21-10. As for Adams Central, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-8 record this season.

Northwest wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-2 win against York on the 21st. As for Adams Central, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Centennial on the 21st.
