Basketball Recap: Beech Grove Gets the Win

Beech Grove hadn't done well against Christel House recently (they were 0-3 in their previous three matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Saturday. The Hornets walked away with a 72-65 victory over the Eagles. This was payback for the Hornets, who suffered a 65-55 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Christel House's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of David Brigham Jr, who shot 62% from the field to rack up 26 points and three steals, and Dayshawn Griffin, who went 5-for-11 on his way to 19 points. Brigham Jr is on a roll when it comes to field goal percentage, as he's posted one of at least 56% in the last three games he's played dating back to last season. Another player making a difference was Dereja Fesseha, who posted ten points.
