Volleyball Recap: Omaha Central Eagles vs. Omaha Westside Warriors

Omaha Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Omaha Westside Warriors. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Warriors this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 last Monday.

The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-13, 25-12.

Ilana Briggs paced Omaha Central's offense, picking up two kills. Briggs got some help from Eliza Stockmann and her three assists. Presley Vacek controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Omaha Westside was led to victory by Kherington Snider and Mary Bahle. Snider had 18 assists and seven digs, while Bahle had seven digs and three assists. Those three assists gave Bahle a new career-high.

Omaha Central's loss dropped their record down to 12-19. As for Omaha Westside, they have been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 12 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-9 record this season.
