Football Recap: Coleman Takes Loss Despite Strong Performances from Logan Glazier and Dominic Lawrence

Coleman blew St. Charles out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Friday St. Charles got their revenge. The Comets fell just short of the Bulldogs by a score of 21-19. The Comets just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

Despite the defeat, Coleman had strong showings from Dominic Lawrence, who gained 136 total yards and two touchdowns, and Logan Glazier, who threw for 120 yards and one touchdown. Lawrence also rushed for 102 rushing yards, which is notable because the Comets are 2-1 when he posts at least 100 rushing yards, but 0-4 otherwise.

Coleman's loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for St. Charles, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 3-4 record this season.
