Baseball Recap: Riverside Indian Braves vs. Casady Cyclones

After flying high against Capitol Hill on Friday, Riverside Indian came back down to earth. The Braves fell 11-6 to the Casady Cyclones on Friday. The Braves were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Cyclones apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2016.

Riverside Indian saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kade Komalty, who went 1-for-3 with one home run. Taven Thrash was another, getting on base in two of his three plate appearances with one run and one RBI.

Riverside Indian's loss dropped their record down to 7-3. As for Casady, their victory bumped their record up to 4-7.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Riverside Indian will welcome Temple at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Braves are facing the Tigers at the right time seeing as the Tigers are stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Casady, they will challenge Millwood at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
