Football Recap: England Takes a Loss

England was the 46-14 winner over Baptist Prep when they last played one another back in October of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Lions fell 28-19 to the Eagles on Friday.

England's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Baptist Prep, their victory was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 2-4.

Coming up, England will be playing at home against Clarendon at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Baptist Prep, they will head out on the road to face off against Hazen at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Eagles will be up against the Hornets' rather soft defense (which has allowed 40 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
