Hoover extended their winning streak to four on Friday, bumping them up to 4-1. They walked away with a 71-58 victory over the St. Francis Knights. That's two games straight that the Buccaneers have won by exactly 13 points.

Having lost for the first time this season, St. Francis fell to 2-1. They haven't had much luck with Hoover recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Several Knights players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Cam Golston, who posted 13 points and six assists. Golston is also crushing it when it comes to steals: she's grabbed at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Emon Stephens was another key player, putting up 17 points and six rebounds.

Coming up, Hoover and Collierville will face off at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday without much rest, having both just played. The Buccaneers will need to watch out since the Dragons have now posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season. As for St. Francis, they and Newton will face off at 8:00 p.m. on Saturday without much rest, having both just played.
