Basketball Recap: St. Andrew's Starts off Right with Win over King

St. Andrew took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Friday. They claimed a resounding 100-72 victory over the King Vikings. The Saints have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Vikings, too.

When it comes to explaining why King lost, don't look at Aj Trimboli. Despite the final result, he shot 55% from beyond the arc on his way to 28 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Henry Simon, who posted eight points along with five rebounds and three steals.

St. Andrew's will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Newman at 6:00 p.m. on December 3. As for King, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 91-86 win against Mount St. Charles Academy on the 22nd.
