Basketball Game Preview: Lincoln Tigers vs. Eagle Rock Eagles

Lincoln hasn't had much luck against Eagle Rock recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Tigers will be home for the holidays to greet the Eagles at 5:30 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Lincoln saw some tournament action on Tuesday. They took a 57-45 hit to the loss column at the hands of Verdugo Hills. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Tigers came into the contest with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 362nd, while the Dons are ranked 817th).

Meanwhile, Eagle Rock entered their game against Marshall on Friday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Eagles took a 65-51 bruising from the Barristers. Eagles fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team has lost against the Barristers since Friday.

Eagle Rock now has a losing record of 5-6. As for Lincoln, their loss dropped their record down to 8-4.
