Basketball Game Preview: Greer Yellow Jackets vs. Powdersville Patriots

The Greer Yellow Jackets will head out to face off against the Powdersville Patriots at 8:00 p.m. on Monday. Greer has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 190 points over their last three games.

On Tuesday, Greer came up short against Fountain Inn and fell 67-57.

Despite their loss, Greer saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. Chase Littlefield, who posted 19 points, was perhaps the best of all. Another player making a difference was Jyssiah Foster, who had 16 points.

Meanwhile, it was close, but on Sunday Powdersville sidestepped Gaffney for a 43-40 win.

Corben Bulter was the Patriots' leading scorer, having posted two points. Landen Sullivan took the lead distributing the ball, coming up with five assists.

Greer now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Powdersville, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

Greer came up short against Powdersville in their previous meeting back in January, falling 67-61. Can the Yellow Jackets avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
